Feet are the last thing we look after and the first thing people see once the sandals come out. And in Málaga, sandal season lasts almost all year. A good pedicure is much more than painting your toenails: it means cutting and filing so nails don’t dig in, softening hard skin, moisturising and giving you half an hour of real relaxation that you feel as soon as you walk out.
At BLUSH, our beauty salon in Málaga, we offer two pedicures for different needs: a quick one to keep your feet ready at all times, and a spa pedicure to care for them from heel to toe. It is part of our nails in Málaga services, so you can have a manicure and pedicure in the same visit.

What is the difference between a regular and a spa pedicure?
A regular pedicure focuses on the nails. A spa pedicure looks after the whole foot, with extra time for the skin and a proper massage. If your heels are dry, you have hard skin or you have just spent a season in closed shoes or walking around the city in flip-flops, the spa pedicure is the one you will notice.

What does a pedicure include?
This is what our pedicure in Málaga typically includes, step by step. The Beauty pedicure covers the nail steps; the Expert Spa adds the full skin care and massage.
- Foot soak. Warm water to relax your feet and soften the skin.
- Nails and cuticles. A straight cut and careful filing so toenails don’t dig into the sides, and cuticles gently tidied.
- Scrub and hard skin. We remove dead skin and smooth heels and pressure areas.
- Hydration and massage. A nourishing cream and a relaxing massage that leaves your feet light and refreshed.
- Polish. Classic polish or long-lasting gel polish, a French finish or a small design.
Gel polish pedicure in Málaga: nail colour that lasts for weeks
On your toes, gel polish lasts even longer than on your hands, because toenails grow more slowly. You can forget about touch-ups for several weeks, which makes it ideal for holidays, the beach and the pool. It is the same technique and quality as the gel polish manicure on our nails page: colour cured under an LED lamp, strong shine and no chips. If you prefer a classic look, we also do a French pedicure.
Tip: book your manicure and pedicure in one appointment. With long-lasting colour on hands and feet you stay matching for weeks, and if you wear gel nails or an acrylic nail set on your hands, we can match the shade on your toes.
Useful Spanish for your pedicure appointment: a pedicure is a pedicura, toenails are las uñas de los pies, gel polish is semipermanente and a nail salon is a salón de uñas. To book, you pedir cita (ask for an appointment). If you search in Spanish, try «pedicura en Málaga» or «servicio de pedicura en el centro de Málaga». Spanish reviews often praise el trato (how you are treated) and la calidad (quality). Our team can help you in English anyway.
How long does a pedicure take and how often should you get one?
A mani pedi (manicure plus pedicure) takes about 1.5 to 2 hours in total. On its own, a Beauty pedicure takes 25 to 45 minutes and a Beauty Expert Spa pedicure 45 to 70 minutes, so it fits easily into a lunch break or a morning of sightseeing. For healthy, good-looking feet, every four to six weeks is ideal. In summer, or if you wear gel polish, many clients come once a month. If you have very dry skin or hard skin, starting with the Expert Spa and then keeping your feet in shape with the Beauty pedicure works very well. Every client is different, and we will advise you at your appointment.

Pedicure or podiatrist: what is the difference?
A pedicure is a beauty service: it makes healthy nails and skin look and feel their best. A podiatrist (podólogo in Spanish) is a health professional who diagnoses and treats foot problems. If you have a painful ingrown toenail, an infection, wounds or diabetes, please see your podiatrist first. During a pedicure we work gently around the area, but treating an ingrown nail is their job, not ours.
Pedicures for men
Yes, pedicures in Málaga are for men too. Many male clients at our Málaga salon book the Beauty Expert Spa pedicure after the gym, running or a summer of walking in sandals: nails cut and filed, hard skin smoothed and a massage, with or without a clear finish. You can combine it with men’s waxing or a massage in the same visit.
Nail salon services in Málaga centro: hands and feet in one visit
We are a full beauty salon, not just a pedicure bar, so your nail appointment can cover hands and feet at the same time. In our nail salon in Málaga centro you can book:
- Gel polish manicure with a builder base, from €27, so your nail colour on hands and toes matches for weeks.
- Gel nails and acrylic nails: sculpted nail extensions from €40, with an infill every three to four weeks.
- Classic manicure with polish, €19, if you just want neat, clean nails for a trip or a weekend away.
- French and nail art on hands or feet: ask us for the price on WhatsApp.
Each salon visit starts with a quick look at your nails and skin, and every nail technician on our team works with clean, disinfected tools. Whether you live in Málaga, are spending the summer on the Costa del Sol or are in Málaga for a long weekend, you can have spa pedicures, manicures and nails done in a single appointment at the salon. See prices and nail types on our nail salon page.
