Long hours at a laptop, a heavy backpack, a day walking from the Alcazaba to Malaga Cathedral and down to the promenade, or simply a stressful week: it all ends up in your neck, shoulders and lower back. If you are searching for a massage near you in the centre, a good massage is the simplest way to stop, disconnect and let your body reset. At BLUSH Estética, a beauty salon in Málaga centrally located on Calle Constancia, we keep our menu short and honest: a few well-chosen treatments, done by hand, with warm oils and the pressure you choose.

Whether you live in the ciudad, are working remotely for a few months or are a traveller on a city break on the Costa del Sol, you can book in English, see the price before you go and be back out in the Malaga sunshine within the hour. We are a small wellness-focused salon, not a hotel spa: what you get is a quiet room, a professional and friendly therapist and a session that is genuinely adapted to you.

Many people simply type “massage Malaga” into Google and end up comparing one listing after another. Our advice: look for a place that offers a range of massage styles at clear prices, has a specialist who listens before starting and has reviews you can verify. That is exactly what we try to be, a few minutes from Malaga’s main landmarks, whether you live in Teatinos, Pedregalejo or the old town.

Relaxing massage: switch off for an hour

Relaxed woman receiving a head massage next to orchid flowers

If you just want a massage to relax, this is the one. Our relaxing massage uses long, wrapping movements that follow the rhythm of your breathing. It is not about digging into knots: the aim is to calm your nervous system, ease light tension in the back and shoulders and leave you feeling lighter. Warm oil, soft music and low light bring a feeling of serenity, and you can ask for a little scalp work at the end.

  • 30 minutes: back and neck, perfect on a lunch break or as a regular top-up.
  • 60 minutes: back, legs, arms, neck and shoulders. Our most booked option.
  • 75 minutes: the total full body session, head to toe, when you really need it.

Deep tissue massage for knots and muscle tension

Everyone on our team (therapist or masseur, as some clients say) adapts the pressure to you.

If something actually hurts when you turn your head, or your back feels like stone at the end of the week, deep tissue is the better choice. We work more slowly and with firmer pressure (kneading, thumb pressure and friction) on the spot where the muscle is tight, to release the contracture and help you move more freely. It can feel intense on the most loaded points, but it should never be unbearable: tell us and we adjust the pressure straight away.

In Spain this is called a “masaje descontracturante”, so you may see that name on our Booksy menu, next to the other masajes. Long-standing tension usually needs a few sessions a few days apart; one session already brings a lot of relief.

Which one should I book?

  • Stress, poor sleep or mental tiredness: relaxing, 60 minutes.
  • Knots, stiff neck or a sore lower back: deep tissue, 60 minutes if the tension has been there for weeks.
  • You run, train or play padel: sports massage for legs and back.
  • Tension headaches or a tight jaw: neck, shoulders and head.
  • Heavy legs after a long flight or a hot day: lymphatic drainage massage.
  • A gift, or a treat for yourself: the 75-minute full body option.

How a session works

  1. We listen first. We ask where you feel tension, whether you have any injury and what pressure you like.
  2. You get comfortable. Warm couch, clean towels, low light and soft music.
  3. The treatment. Hands-on technique adapted to your goal: long strokes to relax or focused work on specific areas.
  4. Afterwards. A few minutes to get up slowly, a glass of water and a tip or two on stretching or posture to complement the session. A warm bath that evening helps the effect last.
We are a beauty and wellness salon, not a physiotherapy practice: our massages are for wellbeing, not a therapy for injuries. If you have acute pain, a recent injury or a health condition, please check with your GP or physiotherapist before booking.

“Reservé un masaje para aliviar el dolor que tenía en los hombros y ha sido maravilloso. Kayla, además de simpática, se nota que sabe muy bien lo que hace. Me ha hecho sentir muy cómoda y se ha encargado de explicarme un poco más acerca de la tensión acumulada que se ha encontrado al darme el masaje. Súper contenta, ¡repito seguro!”

Clients describe a great experience and an excellent massage, and they often mention the same things: an attentive team, professionalism, a clean and well cared for salon and a lot of care in every appointment. That is what we aim for every day.

Massage in Málaga: frequently asked questions

How much does a massage cost in Málaga?

With us, a relaxing massage costs €25 (30 min) or €40 (60 min); deep tissue €26 or €45; sports €30 or €50; neck, shoulders and head €30; lymphatic drainage €45; and the 75-minute total full body session €65.

How long does a massage last?

Between 30 and 75 minutes. Thirty minutes is enough for one area, such as back and neck; 60 or 75 minutes covers the whole body.

Do your therapists speak English?

Our team can help you in English and Spanish, and you can message us in English on WhatsApp before booking to explain what you need.

What is the difference between relaxing and deep tissue?

Relaxing uses gentle, slow pressure to calm body and mind. Deep tissue uses firmer pressure on specific knots and tight muscles. If you are not sure, tell us how you feel and we will recommend one.

Do you offer prenatal massage?

We do not have a specific prenatal massage on our menu. If you are pregnant, please check with your GP or midwife first and tell us when you book, so we can decide together whether a gentle session is suitable and adapt the position.

Which is the best massage for a first visit?

If it is your first time with us, 60 minutes of relaxing massage is a safe choice, and most clients say it was a good experience they want to repeat; if you have a specific knot, go for deep tissue. Either way, we check in with you during the session.

Do you offer home visits?

No. Every session takes place in our salon on Calle Constancia, in central Malaga, where the room, oils and atmosphere are ready for you.
